A Boeing jet has scattered particles over a residential space close to Denver after considered one of its engines failed on take-off.
The Boeing 777, with 231 passengers and 10 crew on board, was in a position to return safely and land at Denver Worldwide Airport. No accidents had been reported.
Passengers on board described a “massive explosion” shortly after take-off.
One passenger, Chad Schnell, filmed this footage of the aircraft engine in flames from his seat.
